摘要PURPOSE:To prevent and reduce reflection of a high-frequency input signal to a semiconductor light-emitting element by forming an interface with two types of transmission paths which are placed on a substrate and in specific configuration and a metal pad. CONSTITUTION:An interface is constituted by a non-grounding type coplanar guide 2, coplanar strip lines 31 and 32, and a metal pad 4 which are transmission lines on a semiconductor substrate The guide 2 is constituted by a central conductor 21 and conductors 22 and 23 which are placed while being held through waveguide path channels 24 and 25 which are in a specified width. The strip lines 31 and 32 are constituted by guide channels 331 and 332 and conductors 311, 321, 312, and 322 which sandwich them opposingly and the guide channels 331 and 332 are formed continuously with the channels 24 and 25 of the guide 2, thus obtaining a specified electromagnetic coupling. The metal pad 4 which mounts a semiconductor light-emitting element 5 is adjacent to a termination part of the guide 2 with a gap 7 and is formed continuously with the strip conductors 321 and 322.
