摘要 | PURPOSE:To oscillate the infrared laser element stably by desired wavelength by mounting an electronic cooling element between a cooling member and the laser element and controlling current value conducted through the electronic cooling element. CONSTITUTION:A cooler with double structure consisting of an inner pipe 1 and an outer pipe 2 is filled with a liquefied refrigerant such as liquid nitrogen 4 and the cooling member 5 set up at the nose section of the inner pipe 1 is cooled. The elctronic cooling element 6 is fixed at the nose section of the member 5, and the infrared laser element 8 is mounted at the end section. According to such constitution, the temperature of the element 8 can be adjusted by changing the value of currents flowed through the element 6. Consequently, the oscillating frequency of the element 8 can be controlled by varying and controlling the temperature of the element 8 at a temperature close to the temperature of the refrigerant 4. |
