摘要	An illumination device includes a plurality of excitation light sources; a fluorescent plate for receiving the excitation light and emitting fluorescent light; and an optical system for causing excitation light from each of the plurality of excitation light sources to be incident on the fluorescent plate, the optical system includes a plurality of reflection surfaces for redirecting the output from the respective excitation light sources into a divergent light pattern.
