AbstractThe relationship between the illumination of the stray light and the modulation transfer function (MTF) of the optical imaging system is deducted by the manuscript. With the analysis, an experiment has been designed to confirm the analysis. The experiment result shows that: the exist of stray light will lead to the optical imaging system MTF reduce, the new imaging MTF is related to the MTF in ideal condition, object contrast, the illumination of the object and stray light. © 2018 SPIE.
