摘要PURPOSE:To prevent a light beam from deforming with temperature and to improve temperature control efficiency by holding a light source and a collimator lens which converts light emitted by the light into parallel light integrally by a holding member and providing a light source part which is brought under temperature control and a light beam shaping optical system. CONSTITUTION:A semiconductor laser 40 is brought under the temperature control of the Peltier element 43. Consequently, the laser operates stably. A temperature-controlled part which includes the light source part is surrounded with a heat insulator and contacts a support cylinder body 10 to small area by an optical axis adjusting screw 1 Therefore, the temperature control efficiency is improved. Further, the 1st and the 2nd blocks 31 and 32 are brought under temperature control are controlled to almost constant temperature regardless of variation in external temperature, so light projected from the collimator lens 41 becomes invariably parallel light regardless of the variation in external temperature. The light beam shaping optical system, on the other hand, is put in the lens holder 20 made of invar alloy which hardly deforms with temperature and its optical characteristics has almost no variation in optical characteristics regardless of the variation in external temperature.
