摘要	Disclosed is a resin-made optical element for use in an optical information recording and retrieval device that records and retrieves an information recording medium by utilizing a laser beam or the like, which can suppress the decrease in permeability caused by deterioration when the optical element is irradiated with a light having a high energy density and can maintain permeability at a high level for a long period. The optical element comprises a cured silicon resin product produced by curing a silicon resin composition containing a silsesquioxane compound.
