主权项	A laser marking system having an array of lasers for transmitting optical energy to a thermally or optically sensitive print medium, including a drive circuit for providing drive current to each laser element in the array, the drive circuit adapted to address laser elements in the array according to a desired print pattern, and a modulation circuit adapted to modulate a further control parameter of the laser marking system in order to maintain or improve optical density or opacity of the printed image, in accordance with the desired print pattern.
