摘要 | PURPOSE:To adjust the quantity of light without breaking a semiconductor laser by providing a control means, which controls the output of the semiconductor laser within a prescribed range, and a limiting means which is provided in a laser unit and limits the adjustment range of the control means. CONSTITUTION:A laser unit 1 is provided with a volume VR2 as the limiting means for the purpose of limiting the current adjustment range of a volume VR1 so that a current I is flowed to a semiconductor laser LD up to only a rated quantity of light though the volume VR1 is set to a maximum. The volume VR2 is connected in series to the volume VR1 through a terminal 1c, and the resistance value is adjusted in each laser unit 1 so that the output of the semiconductor laser LD does not exceed the rated quantity of light though the volume VR1 is controlled to maximize the current I. Thus, the output is adjusted easily without breaking the semiconductor laser. |
