An optical disk drive (20) controls a laser diode (51), which serves as a light source, according to recording main-data information (Da) based on main data, and thus forms a record mark (RM) along a virtual irradiation line (TL) in an optical disk (100). The optical disk drive (20) shifts a target depth in a focusing direction according to recording sub-data information (Db) based on sub-data, and thus forms the record mark (RM) with the center of the record mark deviated in the focusing direction from the irradiation line (TL). |

主权项 | An optical information recording apparatus comprising: an objective lens that concentrates information light and irradiates it to an optical information recording medium in which information is recorded in the form of a record mark by irradiating the information light, which is emitted from a light source and has an intensity equal to or larger than a predetermined intensity, to the optical information recording medium; a focus shift unit that shifts the focus of the information light in a focusing direction in which the objective lens recedes from or approaches to the optical information recording medium, and thus shifts the focus of the information light to a target depth to which the information light should be irradiated; a main-data recording unit that controls the light source according to information based on the main data, and thus forms the record mark along a virtual irradiation line in the optical information recording medium; and a sub-data recording unit that shifts the target depth in the focusing direction according to information based on the sub-data, and thus forms the record mark with the center thereof deviated in the focusing direction from the irradiation line. |
