摘要 | Light outputted from a semiconductor laser (1) is split into a main beam and two sub-beams by a diffraction optical element (3) and are collected to a recording layer of a disc (7). Reflection light of the main beam reflected by the recording layer of the disc (7) and reflection light of the two sub-beams pass through a phase filter (11), and are received by an optical detector (10). The phase filter (11) is provided with a first region and a second region separated by a straight line which passes through an optical axis and corresponds to an information track direction, and a phase difference of 180° is made between light passing through the first region and light passing through the second region. A differential push-pull signal is calculated based on output from the optical detector (10). |
