摘要 | The invention relates to an arrangement for optically coupling an optical waveguide to an optical unit of an optical module. The optical module has a reference geometry, which defines a first axis of symmetry. There is an offset between the optical axis of the optical unit and the axis of symmetry of the reference geometry. The invention provides a coupling element which eliminates the offset. The coupling element has, for this purpose, a hole, which is delimited by an inner surface, the inner surface of the coupling element defining a second axis of symmetry. The first axis of symmetry and the second axis of symmetry extend parallel to one another and have an offset with respect to one another which is essentially the same as the offset between the optical axis of the optical unit and the first axis of symmetry of the reference geometry as regards direction and magnitude. Furthermore, a beam-shaping element having an optical axis, which coincides with the second axis of symmetry, is provided on that side of the coupling element which faces the optical unit. |

主权项 | An arrangement for optically coupling, the arrangement comprising: a reference geometry defining a first axis of symmetry; an optical module comprising an optical unit, wherein the optical unit comprises an optical axis along which light is transmitted or received, wherein the optical axis is offset from the first axis of symmetry by a first offset; an optical waveguide; and a coupling element that couples the optical waveguide to the optical unit and comprises a hole and a beam shaping element, wherein the hole is delimited by an inner surface that defines a second axis of symmetry, wherein the beam-shaping element has an optical axis and is integrated on a side of the coupling element facing the optical unit, wherein the coupling element is arranged in relation to the optical module with the second axis of symmetry coinciding with the optical axis, wherein the first axis of symmetry and the second axis of symmetry extend parallel to one another and have a second offset about equal to the first offset, and wherein the optical axis coincides with the second axis of symmetry. |
