主权项 | Fibre optic particle detector for measurements in a fluid flow, comprising an optical fibre, an optical interferometer, an optical light source providing light in said fiber, the optical fiber being attached to or embedded in a transducer element, characterized in that the transducer element or a mechanical structure which is in acoustic contact with the transducer element is arranged to be hit by particles moving in the flow by exposing part of said transducer element or said mechanical element to the flowing fluid, each particle hitting the exposed part thus generating acoustic waves propagating some distance in the mechanical structure and/or transducer element to the optical fibre. |
