AbstractWe demonstrate supercontinuum (SC) generation at 1550 nm in a high-index doped glass waveguide strip-loaded with a thin a-Si layer. The strip added 0.1 dB/cm to the propagation loss but it enhanced the SC generation. © OSA 2018
